Lebanon Emergency Appeal
The people of Lebanon need your help today
In Lebanon, the lives of more than 1,000 people have been claimed in just two weeks, with a further 6,000 people injured.
Over 900,000 people have been forced to leave their homes in the space of just one week since the escalation of violence on 23 September.
Adding to the 110,000 people who had already fled their homes since hostilities first flared up in October 2023, this means there are now 1 million people displaced in Lebanon.
Men, women and children in Lebanon are facing the biggest crisis of their lives, and urgently need your help.
Concern's response
We have been working with people in Lebanon since 2013, responding to the needs of Syrian and Palestinian people displaced from their countries while also supporting vulnerable Lebanese households affected by Lebanon’s 2019 economic crisis.
For a population that has faced monumental hardship for many years, this could be their greatest challenge yet. We can't let them down.
As part of our emergency response in Lebanon, we are working with the UN High Commission for Refugees and the Lebanese Red Cross to provide shelter in the north of the country.
We are also providing emergency cash assistance, essential items such as cooking stoves, kitchen sets, Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) kits, baby kits, hygiene kits and hot meals for people seeking safety, and psychosocial support for those that need it.
