Concern Connect

We are excited to launch Concern’s brand-new youth network – Concern Connect. This is for anyone who is aged between 18-25 and who lives on the Island of Ireland. This network is open to both people who participated in Concern activities in school (like the Debates or TY Academy) or anyone with an interest but hasn’t engaged with us previously.

Join our network today to develop skills for global citizenship, contribute to the work of Concern in your local community and join a network of people who are interested in global development, human rights and equality.

What does the programme offer?

Be part of a network of people across Ireland

Join others that are interested in international development, social justice, and human rights

Have the opportunity to engage your own community and networks in campaign actions and fundraising events

Represent Concern in your community

You can do these in ways including volunteering and supporting schools in your local community by adjudicating primary and secondary debates

Engage with Concern

Attend dedicated network events to learn more about Concern’s work and to meet other network members

Volunteer and attend Concern campaign events such as workshops, webinars and training

Receive the Concern campaign newsletter which features opportunities to act on global justice issues and campaign actions

How do I sign up:

Email globalcitizens@concern.net to join today and introduce yourself.

Tell us:

  • Your name and the county you are from
  • Why you are interested in joining the network
  • Any specific global challenges you are interested in finding out more about. A member of the team will be in touch to follow up.

Please note, this programme is only open to people aged over 18 who have left secondary school.
