Step Up for Concern
Host a charity walk or run

Bring your community together and take action to support Concern Worldwide’s mission to end extreme poverty by hosting a charity walk or run.

Whether you're an avid runner, a casual walker, or simply someone who wants to be part of something special, organising a charity walk or run is an impactful way to raise vital funds to help end poverty and support vulnerable families worldwide. Every step you take helps Concern provide life-saving support—like food, clean water, healthcare, and education—to the communities that need it most.

How it works

1

Click the button above to sign up and host your charity walk or run. Once registered, you'll receive all the resources you need, including promotional materials, route planning guidance, and a fundraising toolkit.
2

Choose a Route and Set a Date

Select a route that works well for your community—a local park, trail, or even a neighborhood circuit. Choose a date that allows enough time for promotion and preparation.
3

Spread the word

Use social media, flyers, community notice boards, and word of mouth to promote your charity walk or run. Encourage friends, family, and neighbours to join or form teams. The more participants you attract, the bigger the impact you can make.
4

Raise money for Concern

Set a fundraising goal for your event, and ask participants to get involved by raising funds through sponsorships or personal donations. Every euro you raise will go towards delivering life-saving aid and long-term support, ensuring vulnerable communities have the resources they need to thrive.
