This evaluation looks at the programming of Concern Worldwide in North Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2016.

This intervention supported displaced, returnee and vulnerable households with access to non-food items (NFIs), shelter materials and training, cash, hygiene kits, seeds and tools, a soft WASH component, and also had a component of road and bridge rehabilitation to enable access for humanitarian actors to isolated villages.

The main conclusion of the evaluation is that despite issues in security, capacity and planning, most of the planned activities were implemented.

This publication covers aid activities implemented with the financial assistance of several donors, including OFDA, ECHO and Irish Aid. The ideas, opinions and comments herein are entirely the responsibility of the author(s) and do not necessarily represent or reflect the policies of any donors.
