Research on Food Assistance for Nutritional Impact (REFANI)
REFANI builds directly into DFID’s Humanitarian Innovation and Evidence Programme, contributing specifically towards improving the evidence base for humanitarian practice.
The project aims to strengthen the evidence base on the nutritional impact and cost-effectiveness of cash- and voucher-based food assistance programmes, as well as identify the mechanisms through which this effectiveness is achieved.
This document covers humanitarian aid activities implemented with the financial assistance of DFID. The views expressed herein should not be taken, in any way, to reflect the official opinion of DFID, and DFID is not responsible for any use that may be made of the information it contains.
