This year we’re delighted to have the support of five of Ireland’s fitness stars as Ambassdors for the annual Concern Fast on 24 November.

Nutty Nutrition, Edel Wade, Brian Keane Fitness, Gym Bunny Dublin, and Sinead Forde have all signed up to the fast themselves – and are asking their followers on Instagram to join too. Each of the ambassadors is offering rewards to their most successful fundraising followers, who join the fast and raise money to help the world’s poorest people

Nutty Nutrition

Jennifer Haughton, the face behind Nutty Nutrition, is offering followers who raise over €30 a copy of her recipe book, full of rewarding recipes. Raise over €50 and in addition to the recipe book, you’ll also receive a seven-day work-out plan. For the top five fundraisers, Jen will provide you with your very own one-on-one, personalised nutrition plan from the nutty nutirionist herself! Find Nutty Nutrition on Instagram

Edel Wade

Edel is offering fundraisers who raise €40 a nutrition plan with advanced nutrition plans going to followers who raise €80. If you raise as much as €500, Edel will give you a training plan which will consist of four sessions: one session a week, with one-to-one training. Find Edel on Instagram

Brian Keane Fitness

Brian has giving half of the proceeds of his current online training course to the Concern Fast – thank you Brian! In addition, he is also offering followers who register and fundraise the most to come and spend the day with him in Galway. You'll have coffee, train together, get some food and chat about anything that can support you on your fitness journey. Find Brian on Instagram

Orla McDonagh – Gym Bunny Dublin

Orla is delighted to be an ambassador for this year’s fast and is also encouraging as many of her followers as possible to sign up for the fast in her name. She will give a copy of her first eBook to all of her followers who raise over €30 for the fast. Find Gym Bunny Dublin on Instagram

Sinead Forde

To encourage her followers to join this year’s Fast, Sinead is also offering some rewards. She’s running a bootcamp for the top eight fundraisers, and for the four people who have raised the most, she’ll be bringing them along for pancakes, healthy treats and lots of fitness and food chats after. Sounds like fun!

Concern Fast 2016 – Thursday 24 November

The Concern Fast is our biggest annual fundraiser and takes part this year on Thursday 24 November. If you’re keen on taking part, but not so keen on fasting, there are lots of alternative ways to join in – thought of giving up social media for example? Smoking? Or coffee?

If you want to take part in our fitness ambassador’s competition, make sure you select your chosen ambassador on the Sign Up form.
